Flashback Friday

Flashback Friday is a weekly meme hosted by Fiction Fare and Swoony Boys Podcast. In Fiction Fare’s own voice: “The idea for the meme came from discussion between the four of us, and with our friend Liza from WhoRuBlog, about our love for books that came out before we started blogging. We wanted a way to celebrate books that are at least two years old and so Flashback Friday was born! Each week both sites will post our book choices. Everyone is welcome to join in the fun!” You can find out more here.

26210Bras and Broomsticks by Sarah Mlynowski Synopsis

What if all your wishes could come true? Blink your eyes, drink a fizzing pink potion, and poof! Life is perfect. That’s Rachel’s situation. Except she’s not the one who suddenly has magical powers. Her younger sister is. And as Rachel would tell you, spellbooks are wasted on the young!

Yes, yes, of course world peace and cures for horrible diseases are important. But so is dancing without looking like she’s being electrocuted, winning back her best friend, stopping her dad’s wedding, and finding a date for Spring Fling.

Rachel’s not bewitched. Yet. . . .

Happy reading and don’t even think about eating that entire package of Cadbury’s chocolate Easter eggs. I’m serious. No monkey business.

    1. Hey Jessica,
Sarah Mlynowski rocks. I hope you read it and, if it isn’t your cup of tea, you should try Ten Thing We Did (And Probably Shouldn’t Have) it isn’t as light but was written for a more mature audience.

      Happy reading, Jordan
