Showcase Sunday is a weekly meme hosted by Jordan’s Jewels where you showcase a favorite cover on your bookshelves.
Happy Sunday Gems! I hope your week was filled with awesome books and a TON of Fangirl/Fanboy moments. I recently claimed Meghan Trainer’s album Title as my anthem and won’t stop signing. In other words, I hope your week was better than my families.
I chose a special book this week. How to Be Bad by E. Lockhart, Sarah Mlynowski and Lauren Myracle recently got new covers for the US and UK paperbacks. If you know me you know I absolutely adore Sarah Mlynowski. I met both Sarah and Lauren back in 2014 and got my book signed but have yet to find Emily at an event near me. If you haven’t read this book I highly recommend it.
How to Be Bad by E. Lockhart, Sarah Mlynowski and Lauren Myracle
Three bestselling authors–E. Lockhart, Sarah Mlynowski, and Lauren Myracle–bring you on the road trip of a lifetime in this dynamic novel packed with fun, friendship, and feminism.
Jesse, Vicks, and Mel each has her own reason for wanting to get away from their nowheresville Florida town. Add in a hot (and harmless) hitchhiker, an impending hurricane, and a close encounter of the gator kind, and the result is one sizzling road trip where the journey is far more important than the destination. Now in a fresh new package, How to Be Bad will take even more readers along for the ride.

Happy reading and show them what’s beautiful.
I’ve read E. Lockhart’s other books but not this one yet! I haven’t read anything by Sarah or Lauren. I’ll have to check out HOW TO BE BAD!

Jordan,
Yes! I love Mlynowski’s work. She is brilliant. 🙂 I haven’t read anything else by Myracle but Lockhart’s We Were Liars was epic! I hope you get a chance to check out Mlynowski’s work soon!

Jordan,
I really enjoyed her Magic In Manhattan series when I was a preteen but, considering you’re older, Ten Things We Did (and Probably Shouldn’t Have) was a really steamy read. It deals with mature topics but if you’re fine with sex in books I would say go for it!
Another one of my favorites (oh who am I kidding? Anything Sarah Mlynwoski is a favorite of mine!) is Don’t Even Think About It. It came out last year and the sequel is supposed to be released in 2016. That was a really fun book. I read it in one sitting.
You can always go on her website if you want something for a younger audience or want to check her books out yourself. I have her website linked above in the post along with her Goodreads page! If you do decide to read her work please let me know what you think!
-Jordan AKA the one obsessed with Sarah Mlynowski. 😉
